A body found floating in the sea among the rocks at Silver Beach in Yeniboğaziçi (Agios Sergios) yesterday, has been identified as Gazimağusa (Famagusta) resident Güldeniz Özel, 45.
A police report said that Güldeniz Özel’s cause of death has been confirmed as a ‘Blunt Trauma’ to the head, ‘Cerebral Hemorrhage’, ‘drowning’, and ‘asphyxiation’.
An investigation into the incident is underway.
