Christodoulides. convenes National Council next week to discuss Cyprus developments


 

Government Spokesperson Konstantinos Letymbiotis announced that the National Council will convene on Friday, 14 February 2025 at 10:00 under the Greek Cypriot leader Nikos Christodoulides.
In a post on platform X, Letymbiotis wrote that during the session, Christodoulides will inform political party leaders on the latest developments in the Cyprus problem as well as on the preparations for the expanded meeting to be convened by the UN Secretary General.
“Our unwavering commitment to resume negotiations from the point where they have been suspended, within the agreed framework as defined by the relevant Security Council resolutions, remains firm, reflecting our common desire for a final settlement of the Cyprus problem”, he noted.
