Citizen journalist Maypa released on bail

Citizen journalist Serdinç Maypa, who was arrested for “violating the privacy of private life and disseminating personal data”, was brought to court yesterday. Maypa has been released on a pending trial.

Maypa made a statement after his release.

“I WAS CHOSEN AS A VICTIM”

“Although it seems like this is my case, it is actually the country’s case we are facing,” he said.

Maypa said that he was victimized and accusations were filed against him so that the truth would not be revealed.

When Serdinç Maypa came out of the court he emphasized that the judiciary is down to the rights, law, and justice.
