“Coast-to-Coast Run” in Cyprus will take place on Saturday, 23 November 2024.
The bicommunal runners’ association Runite is hosting the event.
According to the press release from UNFICYP, this year’s event will feature two groups of runners starting respectively from Larnaca at 7:30am and Kyrenia at 9:30am and converging towards Nicosia.
The final segment will take place around Ledra Street/Lokmaci crossing and Eleftheria Square at approximately 2:40pm, culminating at the Home for Cooperation at around 3pm.
The race will be divided into segments of varying distances: 1, 3, 6, 10, and 20 kilometres.
The initiative is supported by the Office of the Special Adviser to the Secretary-General in Cyprus (OSASG-Cyprus), in partnership with the UN Development Programme (UNDP).
