Work has officially commenced on the Dipkarpaz-Monastery road, a joint initiative between the Turkey Highways Directorate and the Northern Cyprus Highways Department.
The new road, which is expected to be completed within four months, will span 18 kilometers in length and range between 6 to 8 meters in width, significantly improving access to the area.
Prime Minister Ünal Üstel and Minister of Public Works and Transportation Erhan Arıklı were present at the groundbreaking ceremony, marking the start of the construction phase.
