CPDC and Apofasi Irini Strengthen Commitment to the Cyprus Peace Process The Cyprus Peace and Dialogue Center (CPDC) and Apofasi Irini convened on Friday at CPDC’s premises to discuss recent developments in the Cyprus issue.

Both organisations reaffirmed their shared dedication to advancing efforts towards a comprehensive settlement. They emphasised their commitment to a collaborative approach, working on a roadmap to prevent another failure and facilitate a viable solution to the Cyprus problem.

Plans for future initiatives were outlined, with a focus on fostering dialogue and building mutual understanding across communities in Cyprus. The content of their joint statement has already begun to resonate with political parties, and both organisations pledged to contribute concrete solutions for presentation to leaders, political parties, and international stakeholders.

CPDC and Apofasi Irini will continue to advocate for the active involvement of civil society at all levels of the peace process. CPDC and Apofasi Irini consist of experienced former politicians, officials, negotiators, active professionals, and civil society representatives.
