Crown Iris ship returns to Limassol port on Saturday

The cruise ship ‘Crown Iris’, which is participating in the Israeli “Safe Return” operation, returns to the port of Limassol on Saturday carrying mainly foreign nationals who leave Israel.

The cruise ship, which stopped its scheduled season cruises to assist in the effort to repatriate Israelis and evacuate foreign nationals from the war-torn region, had set sail on Thursday afternoon from the port of Limassol, transporting around 1,600 Israelis to the port of Haifa.

The Crown Iris will once again dock at the DP World Limassol passenger terminal, transporting approximately 1,500-1,600 foreign nationals. Immediately after their disembarkation, a number of Israelis who wish to repatriate are expected to board.
According to the current schedule, the Crown Iris is expected to operate a similar route on Monday, June 23.
