The Republican Turkish Party (CTP) Secretary General Asım Akansoy called on the prosecutor’s office and the police headquarters to take notice of allegations put forward and conduct an investigation as soon as possible. Akansoy said that allegations against members of the Presidency and government, involving corruption and bribery cases have been reflected in the press lately.
Regarding these allegations, Akansoy said that it was of utmost importance for the Prosecutor’s Office and the General Directorate of Police to launch a speedy investigation towards the claims put forward.
Akansoy added that his party will be following the developments on both issues.
