DAÜ BİR-SEN “We will not let our institutions and lands slip through our fingers”

The Eastern Mediterranean University Unity and Solidarity Trade Union (DAÜ-BİR-SEN) stated that they felt disturbed after hearing that EMU’s Beach Club will be privatized. They said, “We will not let our institutions and lands slip through our fingers.”

The union called for EMU students and the people of Gazimağusa (Famagusta) to protect EMU Beach Club, use the facility, and not remain silent regarding privatizing the lands.

According to the statement by DAÜ BİR-SEN, they only heard about lands being privatized when it was published in the news.
