One person died following a traffic accident on the Akdoğan – Vadili main road, this morning. Muhammad ZAMAN (M-43) who was driving from Akdoğan to Vadili with a commercial vehicle, hit pedestrian Sujeeva Deepal WARNAKULASURIYA MAHALEKAMGE FERNANDO (M-40), who also worked for the same company.
Sujeeva Deepal WARNAKULASURIYA MAHALEKAMGE FERNANDO, who was rushed to the was Gazimağusa (Famagusta) State Hospital, could not be saved despite all efforts. The driver of the vehicle, Muhammad ZAMAN, has been arrested and an investigation in to the incident is continuing.
