Driving license fees increased!


 

The Council of Ministers approved the “Redetermination (Amendment) Regulation of Fees for Motor Vehicle Registration and License and Driving Licenses. The decision was published in the Official Gazette.

According to the authority granted by Article 4A of the Motor Vehicles and Road Traffic Law, the Council of Ministers has redetermined the registration and license fees for vehicles according to vehicle types and weights. The fees to be paid for motor vehicle dealer license, motor vehicle inspection certificate, and international exit fees for motor vehicles have also been increased.

Driving license fees are as follows;

According to the regulation, a student driving test will now cost 1,435 TL, a learner’s license 1,434.90 TL, a motor vehicle driving test 1,970 TL.

Fees according to duration of licenses are as follows:

“2 years: 1,434.80 TL
3 years: 1,914.70 TL
5 years: 2,939.50 TL
10 years: 4,879 TL

The fee to be paid for a one-year license issued with a restriction due to age has increased to 959.90 TL, while the temporary driving license is now 1,434.90 TL; The fee to be paid for a copy of a lost, damaged, worn out or replaced driving license or student license now costs 700 TL.
