Drones and air sports forbidden between July 17-20th!


 

The Ministry of Public Works and Transportation has issued a NOTAM banning drones and air sports between the 17th-20th July due to demonstration flights and rehearsals by the Solo Türk aerobatic team of the Turkish Air Forces, in line with the 20th July events.

Flying drones and air sports are banned from 5.45 am on the 17th of July until 8 pm on the 20th of July for security reasons, the ministry said in a statement.

According to the NOTAM (Notice to Airmen) it has been stated that paragliding, parasailing and similar air sports and drones will also be banned during the stated period.
