Duo Lamente concert to take place at Bellapais Spring Music Festival


 

The 18th North Cyprus International Bellapais Spring Music Festival held by the North Cyprus Music Association will continue with a Duo Lamente concert on Friday April 28 at the Bellapais Abbey at 8 pm.

The Duo Lamente concert will be composed by world-renowned Turkish countertenor Kaan Buldular and archlute player Hande Cangökçe. They will perform, Sultan III. MURAD Uyan Ey Gözlerim Gafletten Uyan, Tanburi Mustafa ÇAVUŞ Dök Zülfünü Meydane Gel, and Anonim İstanbul Türküsü “Katibim”.

A flute & piano recital by Pamir Kolat and Atakan Sarı will take place on Tuesday, May 2.

The concert will be held at the Bellapais Abbey in line with the Bellapais Spring Festival in contribution for Champion Angels Society by the Deputy Prime Ministry, the Ministry of Tourism, Culture and Environment, Deniz Plaza, Bellapais Gardens, Kybele and Huzurağaç.

International Bellapais Spring Music Festival programme which will continue until May 12, is as follows:

May 4, LBO Symphonic Project: Soundtrack Concert conductor: Eray İnal, Soloist: Ezgi Akgürgen

May 6, Alina Polova / soprano – Yuliya Yılmaz / piano

May 7, Cyprus Piano Recital: Concert by students of Rauf Kasımov’s “In support of The Association for Commemorating the Champion Angels”

May 10, Mihriban Aviral Flute Recital “Latin Jazz Breeze”

May 12, Festival Closing Concert Expromte Trio and Evren Karagöz, Bariton “15 Anniversary Concert”

All concerts at the Bellapais Abbey will start at 8 pm with an entrance fee of 200TL.

Tickets will be sold at Girne (Kyrenia) and Lefkoşa (Nicosia) Deniz Plaza stores or online from the Biletfest.com website or at the entrance of the concert.
