Senior officials from the European Investment Bank (EIB) and the Council of Europe Development Bank (CEB) are set to visit Cyprus on Thursday for an official event during which they will sign loan agreements totaling €72 million.
According to an official announcement, EIB Vice President Kyriakos Kakouris and CEB Deputy Governor Tomáš Boček will be in Nicosia for the signing of the agreements, which will provide financial support for the construction of the new Archaeological Museum in the capital.
The agreements will be signed by Finance Minister Makis Keravnos.
The signing ceremony will take place at the Ministry of Finance between 12:00 and 13:30, with the attendance of government officials, including Transport, Communications, and Works Minister Alexis Vafeades and Deputy Minister of Culture Vasiliki Kassianidou.
During his visit, Kakouris will also present the financial results of the EIB Group for 2024.
