The engineer responsible for the construction of the Grand İsias Hotel in Adıyaman, Kahramanmaraş, which collapsed during the February 6 earthquake, has been taken in for questioning.
According to the Adıyaman Chief Public Prosecutor’s Office statement, investigations into the buildings destroyed in the Kahramanmaraş-centered earthquakes are continuing.
Following investigations, it has been reported that a team from the provincial command of the Turkish Gendarmerie have arrested one individual believed to be the engineer of the hotel construction which was destroyed in the earthquakes and caused the death of 65 people, including the volleyball team from North Cyprus.
The individual was questioned by police and sent to court.
