The Erenköy (Kokkina) – Karpaz (Karpasia) Municipality has announced that it is organizing its 1st Summer Festival this year at the Yeni Erenköy (Gialousa) Public Beach between 5th and 7th of July.
The municipality said that the 3-day festival will include beach activities, tournaments, and a concert by Group Otantic.
Türkiye’s artist Sena Şener and Rap artist Motive will also be giving a concert during the festival.
The festival will kick start with a concert by Sena Şener followed by dances and traditional dance performances. There will be a Sand Sculpture event, and activities such as Survivor Child, a Backgammon tournament, Beach Volleyball, and a Chess Tournament, along with Children and Art activities.
Students from the Diamoonte Gymnastics Club will perform along with local culture performances such as the YENDER Children’s Folk Dance Group, Yeni Erenköy Primary School Dance Group, and YENDER Master Women.
