The Dörter Famagusta Marathon will be taking place in memory of the Champion Angels in Gazimağusa (Famagusta) on April 7, with the theme “We are running for justice”.
A festival will be held on April 6 at 4 p.m. at Cortado Espressolab on the Salamis road. Marathon races will begin at 7 a.m. on April 7 with a 42 km run.
The races will be organized in 5 categories: 42 km, 10 km, 6 km, 3 km, and 1 km.
The most special marathon will be the 3 km run called “Champion Angels”. There will be no ratings in this run. All members are invited to participate in this run.
As the marathon has officially been approved by the World Athletics Organization, a prize of 500,000 TL will be given to the winners.
