Few products, high demand!

Speaking to KIBRIS, Yenal Garabli, President of the Marketers’ Association, explained why fruit and vegetable prices are so high.

“Fruit and vegetables can not be produced in the heat”…

Garabli said that it is impossible to grow fruit and vegetables with high temperatures.

“It is very difficult to grow products in this weather. The sun has burned vegetables and melted greenhouse crops. Therefore, we have nothing on the market. When demand is high and the products are very few, the prices double” he was cited as saying.
