Fire breaks out in Fasouri

A fire broke out on Wednesday afternoon in the Fasouri area. The British Bases Fire Service, the Fire Department and Department of Forests are currently working to control the blaze west of the Fasouri plantation.

Five aircraft are involved in the firefighting efforts: one from the British Bases and four from the Department of Forests. Additionally, four fire engines from the British Bases, two from the Fire Service, and two from the Department of Forests are on the scene.

Most of the flames are within the British Bases territories. The public is urged to avoid driving through the area to allow better access for firefighting vehicles.
