Fire broke out in Çınarlı village


 

A fire that broke out in the İncirli Cave area in the southeastern part of Çınarlı village has been brought under control.

According to information released by the Police Press Office, the fire that broke out in the south- eastern part of Çınarlı village yesterday at noon due to an undetermined reason, spread to a wide area.

The Fire Brigades as well as teams from the forestry department, civil defense organization, locals with tractors and water tankers belonging to the municipality of the region all fought together to bring the fire under control.

The Minister of Agriculture and Natural Resources Hüseyin Çavuş made a statement to BRT.

Çavuş said that they were able to bring the fire under control as they had called on the people in the region from the moment the fire began.

The minister called on all citizens to be careful as there is a heat wave in the region.

He said what is important is that no fires are started to begin with and reminded that every year during this time everyone must be extremely careful as the risk of fire is very high.
