A fire is currently burning between the communities of Alassa and Monagri, in the Limassol district of Cyprus.
According to initial reports, forces from the Fire Service and the Department of Forests have been dispatched to the scene.
Additionally, according to the spokesperson for the Fire Service, Andreas Kettis, five aerial means, such as aircraft or helicopters, are in the process of being activated to assist in firefighting efforts
