Fire Service mobilised as blaze engulfs listed building in Limassol centre


 

The Fire Service in Limassol was mobilised following a fire that broke out in a listed building in the city centre, adjacent to the rectorate of TEPAK (Cyprus University of Technology).
According to Philenews , three fire engines rushed to the scene to extinguish the fire, and there are concerns about the potential collapse of the building’s roof.
Firefighters are also focusing on protecting adjacent buildings, while roads in the area have been closed.
The area has been covered in dense black smoke due to the fire.
