Bekir Devran Esendağlı tennis club player representing the Gazimağusa Municipality has become champion in both singles and doubles at the ITF/Tennis Europe Development Championships 2023 (closed) tournament at age 12 (where national team players can participate with a special invitation.)
Bekir, who reached the finals without giving any sets in singles, became champion by defeating his Bulgarian opponent 6-4, 6-2 in the final match.
Bekir became the first Turkish Cypriot tennis player to win Indoor Tennis Europe with this championship.
