The Head of the Lefke Environment and Ecology Association Tamer Dayıoğlu announced that the open septic tank located around Selvili Road in Gemikonağı is posing a danger to the public.
Upon a complaint, Dayıoğlu called on authorities for the hole to be detected. Dayıoğlu stated that citizens were experiencing problems with flies and the smell caused by the tank.
