Gİ-KA KOOP represents North Cyprus in Azerbaijan


 

Turkish Cypriot Association of Women Entrepreneurs (Gİ-KA Koop) in Lefkoşa (Nicosia) joined The 17th Azerbaijan International Agriculture Exhibition ‘Caspian Agro’ that was held in Baku, the capital of Azerbaijan, on 15-17 May 2024.

The Cooperative representing our country participated in the exhibition with an invitation by Sakina Babayeva, Chair of the Board of Directors of the Azerbaijan Women’s Entrepreneurship Development Association (AWEDA) in Azerbaijan, and delivered a speech under the title of “Women’s Achievements in Agriculture” at the panel of international participants.

The presentation was made by the Cooperative Board Member Özge Özbekoğlu.

Along with 70 countries, Gika-Koop from North Cyprus, took part in the Baku International Exhibition at the Baku Expo Center and made a great contribution to the promotion of North Cyprus by exhibiting the agricultural products produced by the women of our country and the cultural and local products.

Gülnur Sadıkoğlu, Özge Özbekoğlu and Burcu Kayan joined the exhibition on behalf of Gika-Koop.

Azerbaijani Minister of Agriculture Majnun Mammadov, Turkish Ambassador to Baku Mr. Cahit Bağcı, TRNC Baku Ambassador Ufuk Turganer, Uzbekistan Baku Ambassador Bahroom Ashrafxanov, Commercial Attaché of Hungary Daniel Brenner, Chairman of the Board of MÜSİAD Azerbaijan, MÜSİAD Cyprus Founding President and business people visited the Gİ-KA KOOP booth and made contacts during the exhibition.
