The Meteorology Department reports that the region will be under the influence of a low pressure system and a warm and relatively humid air mass for Sunday June 30.
Temperatures are predicted to be 2- 4 degrees above seasonal norms, and winds will blow southerly and westerly moderate becoming stronger in places where rain will fall. Skies will be clear to slightly cloudy,. More clouds are expected at noon with occasional showers or thunderstorms.
The highest temperature will be around 30-38 degrees inland and on the coast.
Temperatures in the capital Lefkoşa (Nicosia) will be around 38 degrees.
