Due to heavy traffic caused by the ongoing TEKNOFEST event, the Highways Department has advised passengers traveling to Ercan Airport to use the Aslanköy ( Angastina) junction as an alternative route.
In an official statement, the department said:
“To prevent delays for passengers heading to Yeni Ercan Airport amid congestion on the Lefkoşa–Gazimağusa–Ercan main road during the TEKNOFEST event, we strongly recommend using the Aslanköy junction as an alternative route.”
The advisory aims to ease traffic flow and ensure timely access to the airport.
