The Meteorology Department announced that hot weather will continue.
According to the weather report, covering September 26 – October 2, the weather will be under the influence of a hot and humid air mass with a low-pressure system and a cool and humid air mass in the upper atmosphere on the other days.
It is expected to be foggy in the early hours on Wednesday and partly cloudy throughout the week.
Temperatures will be around 35-38 degrees inland and 30-33 degrees on the coast.
Winds will be Southerly and Westerly moderate becoming stronger at times.
