“I have come across types of drugs in prison that I have never seen in my life”

Enver Algun, who was sent to the new prison two months ago for crimes he committed, appeared before the court yesterday to request changes to his bail conditions.

During his testimony, Algun shared his harrowing experiences in prison, revealing that the cells are overcrowded and that he has encountered types of drugs there that he had never seen before.

Struggling to hold back tears, Algun confessed that he was first introduced to drugs at the age of 36 and has been unable to break free from addiction despite undergoing treatment. He highlighted the widespread drug use in prison and expressed deep distress, stating, “If no one rescues me from this ward, I will lose my mind.”
