Karaoğlanoğlu Sports Games and Sea Festival returns this July


 

The Karaoğlanoğlu ( Agios Georgios ) Sports Games and Sea Festival will take place at Antis Beach from July 3rd to 6th, hosted by Girne ( Kyrenia) Municipality for the third consecutive year.

This vibrant four-day event will feature a wide range of activities, including sports competitions, concerts, stage performances, and fun contests. Food and beverage stalls will also be available for visitors.

Organized in collaboration with the Deniz Yıldızı Aid Association and the Mediterranean Sports Union, the festival will offer a 6 km night run, various beach and sea contests, laser and optimist sailing show races, as well as yoga, gymnastics, and dance demonstrations.

Special events will also honor two individuals: a DEYAD program in memory of Deniz Nasıfoğlu and a fishing competition in memory of Gülseren Ataker.

Sports lovers can look forward to tournaments in beach football, beach volleyball, table tennis, air badminton, and paddle racing.

Evenings Full of Music

Each evening will feature a concert at 21:00, followed by a DJ performance at 22:30.

July 3: Group Gancelli

July 5: Hikmet Kurtarıcıoğulları and DJ Halil Erhan

July 6: Grup Otantik

“Take Your Meat and Come” BBQ Party

On the final night, July 6th, festivalgoers are invited to join the “Barbecues Are Burning: Take Your Meat and Come” barbecue party. Additionally, Karaoğlanoğlu Sports Club will host a bingo draw at 20:00.
This family-friendly event promises lively entertainment, active fun, and community spirit by the sea.
