Karavezirler ready to support Akıncılar-Limya crossing point opening


 

Değirmenlik( Kythrea ) -Akıncılar (Louroujina)Municipality Mayor Ali Karavezirler has expressed readiness to complete the necessary work for the Akıncılar-Limya crossing point within 10 days, should the leaders reach an agreement on its opening.

Karavezirler highlighted a positive atmosphere surrounding the potential opening and suggested that the crossing point could be operational by August or September.

He emphasized that Akıncılar residents have been eagerly awaiting this development and assured that the municipality is prepared to take all necessary steps to facilitate the process.

“If the crossing point is opened, it will bring growth and increased activity to the area. The village will see more movement, and those who had moved to the city may consider returning,” Karavezirler stated.

He also noted that the opening would boost socioeconomic development, as returning residents would engage in various activities and contribute to local production and commerce.
