Keravnos Strovolou has emerged as the champion of the Cyprus Basketball Cup for the 2024-25 season. The decisive final, held on Sunday at the Tassos Papadopoulos – Eleftheria Indoor Hall, saw Keravnos defeat Anorthosis with a score of 93-81, securing the club’s 13th Cup victory.
With this latest win, Keravnos has ascended to the top of the competition’s all-time list, overtaking APOEL, which has previously claimed the Cup twelve times.
Filippos Tingas, an international guard for Keravnos, was the standout performer of the final and was recognised as the Most Valuable Player (MVP) of the 56th edition of the Cup. Tingas delivered an impressive performance, scoring 28 points that included seven three-pointers out of eight attempts, culminating in a game rating of 32. This achievement marks the second consecutive season in which Tingas has garnered MVP honours in the Cup final.
