KIB-TEK warns of spoofed website!

The Cyprus Turkish Electricity Authority (Kıb-Tek) has warned of spoofed websites that have been created to deceive victims. The authority has urged the public to be vigilant against the fake websites resembling KIB-TEK and to check the website address before making any payments.

The official website of the Turkish Cypriot Electricity Authority for payments is https://online.kibtek.com.

Some websites have illegally been set up with sponsored ads by copying KIB-TEK’s site page, the authority said.

Reports have been issued regarding the spoofed website and an inquiry has been launched.
