Larnaca District Court ruling: TC compensated 200 thousand Euros!

The Larnaca District Court in South Cyprus compensated a Turkish Cypriot 200 thousand Euros following a trial that began in 2017.

The claimant who had a 50% share on the property in the İskele (Trikomo) region, had immigrated to the UK in 1948 and later lived in Ankara for many years.

The claimant is also a relative of Nezire Sofi, who filed application 18163/04 before the European Court of Human Rights (ECHR) and reached a friendly agreement with the Greek Cypriot government around 13 years ago.
