Larnaka airport passenger traffic up 12.7% in January, 7.24% drop in Paphos


 

Passenger traffic at Larnaka and Paphos airports recorded a 6.81% increase in January 2025 compared to the same month in 2024, according to a press release by the Ministry of Transport, Communications, and Works, due to a 12.7% increase recorded in Larnaka and despite a 7.24% drop in Paphos airport.

Specifically, the Ministry reported that Larnaka and Paphos airports welcomed 551,439 passengers during January 2025.

At Larnaka Airport, following the upward trend of 2024, passenger volume increased by 12.7% compared to the same period last year. In contrast, Paphos Airport saw a 7.24% drop compared to January 2024.

With the UK, Greece, Israel, Poland, and Germany as the main markets, aircraft traffic increased by 10.32% compared to the corresponding period last year, reaching a total of 5,346 flights.
