Limassol hosts on Tuesday the Sambo European Federation Congress, with the participation of 25 delegates, ahead of the European Sambo Championship to be held on 23-27 April, at the Apollon Stadium.
The city on the southern coast of Cyprus will host over 800 athletes and their teams from 27 participating countries, in the 2025 European Sambo Championship, which will be part of the “Limassol Games”, organized by the Limassol Municipality.
Cyprus will participate with 17 athletes and aims to win a medal, which will be the first in its history at the men’s/women’s level, after having won a medal at the youth level.
It has been announced that the President of the European Federation and the Vice President and Secretary General of the World Federation will be present during the games.
