Limited visibility and slippery roads in Nicosia and Larnaca due to rain

The downpour, which began around lunchtime, is particularly causing disruptions on the Nicosia-Larnaca highway.

The heavy rains in various areas in the Nicosia and Larnaca provinces, are affecting traffic, since they make the road surface slippery and visibility is limited.

Areas including Tseri, Pera Choriou Nisou, Alambra, Lympia, and Kornos are experiencing the most significant disruptions.

The Police recommends special caution, while drivers are urged to drive their vehicles at a safe, low speed, to maintain a safe distance from vehicles in front and to have their vehicle’s headlights on.
