Livestock Department says no pesticides in animal feed!

The Livestock Department refuted claims that pesticides were found in animal feed. The department emphasized that necessary inspections are carried out on all food products and animal feed at customs entrances with all their units, and that they are working seriously on animal and public health.

Issuing a statement, the department noted that recent press claims that pesticides were detected in feed did not reflect the truth. The Ministry of Agriculture and Natural Resources is responsibility for all control and inspections, it reports.
