Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Foreign Affairs and Foreign Trade of Luxembourg, Xavier Bettel, will pay an official visit to Cyprus on Tuesday, at the invitation of Minister of Foreign Affairs, Constantinos Kombos.
According to an official press release, the two Ministers will hold a tête-à-tête meeting followed by extended consultations with the participation of delegations from the two Ministries. They will then make statements to the media.
Discussions will focus on bilateral relations, the Cyprus issue, issues related to the European agenda, as well as current regional and international developments, mainly the situation in the Middle East and Ukraine.
Later on, the two officials will participate as keynote speakers in an open dialogue on European integration and the role of small member states of the EU, at the University of Cyprus, organised on the occasion of the 20th anniversary of accession of Cyprus to the EU.
During his visit, Bettel will be received by President of the Republic, Nikos Christodoulides.
