A fire incident occurred in the early hours of the morning at the Nicosia Industrial Zone, causing alarm and prompting a swift response from multiple emergency services. The blaze, which broke out at a business named Sırdaş (Teliş), was successfully brought under control after a coordinated effort.

According to a statement released by the police, the fire’s origin remains unknown at this time. The emergency response involved a collaborative effort from several organizations, including the Police Fire Brigade, Civil Defense, KTBK (Cyprus Turkish Peace Forces Command), GKK (Cyprus Turkish Security Forces), and municipal services from both Gönyeli (Kioneli) and Nicosia.
