Major power outages scheduled


 

Several areas will experience a five-hour power cut today due to maintenance work on the high-voltage electrical network, according to the Cyprus Turkish Electricity Authority (Kıb-Tek).

The disruption is scheduled to take place between 09:00 and 14:00, affecting various districts and facilities.

Kıb-Tek has specified the affected regions, which include Beşparmak Köy Yolu (excluding village interiors), Teknecik Area and its eastern parts, Akgünler Petrol Station Area, Davutköy, Alagadi Area, Golf Course and surrounding zones, Karaağaç Coastal Sites, Karaağaç Village Road and Karaağaç Village itself, Karaağaç Water Pump, Esentepe Coastal, Esentepe Village, Football Field Area and Water Pump, Eastern Esentepe Coast, Bahçeli Village, Bahçeli Water Pump and Coastal Area, Tarsan Farm and surrounding lands, Beşparmak Village, Değirmenlik Quarries, Facilities and Water Motors, Alevkayası, Yayla Tepe, Levent Quarry, Western Tekneciğin, Acapulco Junction and Barış Beach Area, Çatalköy Public Beach and Northern Coastal Zone, Munitions Unit, Arapköy, Chelsey Village and Water Pump, Eastern Çatalköy, Özyalçın Evdim Residences, Emtan, Eurocost, Çetin Atalay, Laden Residences, Şehit Çocuğu Lands, Acapulco Hotel, Çatalköy Industrial Zone, and Elexus Hotel.

Kıb-Tek has announced a separate five-hour power outage in Değirmenlik on the same day, due to scheduled maintenance works. This will affect the Değirmenlik quarries, facilities, water pumps, Alevkayası, Yayla Tepe, and Levent Quarries, from 09:00 to 14:00.
