Man arrested for selling land for £55,000 with forged contract


 

C.Y. has been arrested following further investigations after a complaint was filed to the police saying that 60-year-old C.Y. had sold land in Lefkoşa (Nicosia) for 55 thousand pounds with a forged contract. The suspect was taken to court and has been released on bail.

According to the police, C.Y. had sold land in Nicosia belonging to two Hamitköy (Mandres) residents for 55 thousand pounds with a forged contract prepared by himself on December 21, 2022.

The suspect has been taken to the Lefkoşa (Nicosia) District Court and released on bail.
