A man who broke into his dead neighbors house, was arrested and taken to court yesterday on charges of “burglary , smuggling, intentional damage and illegal possession of a firearm.
A police report said that the incident occurred at around 1 a.m. on June 11, 2024. The suspect broke into the home of Emete Şahintepe (84), in Göçmenkoy, after damaging the wooden kitchen door.
Stating that the arrested suspect gave a voluntary statement, the police requested that he be detained for 2 days for a further investigation.
