Man falls from height of 2.5 metres when ladder slips from under him


 

A 29-year-old was injured after falling from a height of 2.5 metres in Lefkoşa (Nicosia) yesterday.

According to the police, the incident took place, at around 3 p.m. yesterday, when Abbas KHALID, was trying to get off a ladder in a market storeroom before falling from a height of 2.5 metres when the ladder slipped from under him.
Following the incident that took place yesterday, KHALID was admitted to the Dr. Burhan Nalbantoğlu State Hospital in Lefkoşa (Nicosia) and is receiving treatment for a fractured arm and a broken tooth.

An investigation is ongoing.
