Police were called to a field in the Ayia Napa area on Friday morning following the discovery of a man’s body.
The remains were found by a member of the public, who immediately notified the authorities. Officers responded promptly and identified that the deceased had been living in a nearby house.
According to police statements, there are no signs of foul play at this stage. A post-mortem examination has been scheduled for 8:30 a.m. on Saturday to determine the exact cause of death.
Investigations are ongoing.
