“Merkez Lefkoşa is available for those who have emergency needs during power cuts”


 

The Lefkoşa Turkish Municipality in a statement noted that the Merkez Lefkoşa in Hamitköy (an area set by the municipality) will be available in cases of emergencies for those in need of an electricity supply.
The announcement is as follows:
“Merkez Lefkoşa will be open during emergencies for those in need of electricity during power cuts. Children, youth, and elderly patients dependent on electricity, who also do not have access to transportation, can call 185. The Merkez Lefkoşa open area is also available to young people and other citizens in need of electricity. They will be able to connect and benefit from an internet connection and make use of charging points as long as they wish.”
