More than 200 deported from Cyprus in past week


 

Hundreds of people have been repatriated after they were found to be living illegally in the Republic of Cyprus, it was reported on Saturday.

According to a police announcement, 201 people were deported in the last week from Cyprus.

Police said that 139 were sent back voluntarily, while 62 were deported.

The authorities added that they are continuing work to increase the number of repatriations.
