New road works on Limassol-Nicosia highway from September 23-26

Overnight maintenance work to replace safety barriers on sections of the Limassol-Nicosia highway will take place between September 23 and 26.

Drivers are urged to follow temporary road signs and the instructions of the police during this period.

According to the Department of Public Works, the works will be carried out nightly from 9:00 p.m. to 6:00 a.m. on the following day.

The affected section will be between the Skarinou junction and the Pissouri junction in both directions.

During the works, one lane of the highway will be closed in 200-meter segments, with traffic redirected to the adjacent lane.

Additionally, from September 23 to October 31, rainwater grate cleaning will be performed on the Limassol bypass road. These works will occur Monday through Thursday from 9:00 p.m. to 6:00 a.m., covering the section from the General Hospital intersection to the Mouttagiaka junction in both directions.

Similar traffic diversions will be in place for these works as well, with one lane closed and traffic diverted to the adjacent lane.
