New traffic regulations on Bedrettin Demirel Street in Nicosia


 

Nicosia Turkish Municipality (LTB) has announced new traffic regulations on Bedrettin Demirel Street, set to take effect from Saturday, September 7. These changes are being implemented to facilitate vehicle flow during the ongoing Main Carrier Line (Trunk E) works in the area.

The new traffic arrangements include:

1. Road to Bedrettin Demirel Street from Gültekin Şengör Street will be closed.
2. Road to Prime Ministry Lights from to Atatürk Street will be closed.
3. Şht. Hüseyin Bora Street, located on the Şht. Ertuğrul Primary School will be opened to traffic.
4. Eti Street between Merit Hotel and the Open Education Faculty will be open to traffic.
5. The traffic lights known as the Cyprus Turkish Airlines traffic lights will be reactivated.

The municipality has requested that drivers pay close attention to traffic directions during this period, as traffic will be controlled throughout the construction works.
