North Cyprus is proud of them


 

North Cyprus is honoured with Turkish Cypriots Doğukan Ulaç and Begüm Tekakpınar who came first in swimming and music competitions.

Turkish Cypriot swimmer Doğukan Ulaç who competed against 2,641 swimmers from 77 countries from 5 continents at the 35th Swimming Race, organized by the Turkish National Olympic Committee with a timing of 41.22 came first in the men’s category at the Samsung Bosphorus Intercontinental Swimming Race.

Begüm Tekakpınar, who represented North Cyprus for the first time at the 3rd International Maikin Asva Issyk Göl Pop Music Festival in Kyrgyzstan, also made the country proud by coming first.
